Roosevelt Mansfield, known as DJ Digie, is a dedicated educator, mentor, DJ, photographer, and cultural advocate with over 30 years of experience empowering youth and fostering community growth. A proud "Son of Rondo" from Saint Paul, Minnesota, Roosevelt’s work bridges education, music, and the arts to create opportunities, celebrate cultural heritage, and inspire the next generation. 
 

As an educator, Roosevelt specializes in leadership development, culturally responsive mentoring, and community engagement. Through his non-profit The Purpose, he founded The BrotherHood, an IN SCHOOL leadership group that empowers African American young men with cultural education, life, and entrepreneurial skills. Programs like HBU tours, Civil Rights Tour in Atlanta and Alabama, and the Louisiana History Tour immerse students in African American history and resilience.
 

As DJ Digie, Roosevelt has performed nationally and internationally as a Hip Hop Delegat, sharing stages with Hip Hop legends like MC Lyte, Rakim, Kieth Murray and Big Boi. His music connects generations and fosters cultural pride.
 

A visionary photographer, Roosevelt’s nine-year career includes exhibitions like US, publications in The French, and Features with the Hennepin Theatre Trust for Its The People. His work with brands, theaters, and organizations showcases his commitment to storytelling and community upliftment.
 

Roosevelt envisions an event center combining education, creativity, and entrepreneurship to equip future generations with access and tools for success. His legacy is one of resilience, opportunity, and the transformative power of mentorship, community and the arts.
